A Surface Worth Seeing Every Day.
Pavers do what poured concrete can't — individual units flex with the ground through Missouri's freeze-thaw cycles without cracking, and if a single piece ever needs replacing, it comes right back out. At Jostmeyer Land Solutions, we install paver patios, front entry walks, pool surrounds, and accent features with the base preparation and joint sand that make them perform as well as they look.
- Paver patio installation — new builds and expansions
- Front entry and walkway designs
- Scored and banded concrete paver patterns
- Natural stone and brick accents
- Permeable paver options for drainage management
- Retaining wall integration and step work
- Pergola and outdoor structure pads
Our Approach
The Base Is Everything.
A paver installation is only as stable as its base. We excavate to proper depth, compact crushed stone in lifts, and set a consistent sand-set bed before the first paver goes down. Every edge is contained — no field pavers shifting over time because the border wasn't locked. Joints are filled and compacted with polymeric sand that resists washout and holds the pattern together for years.
We design the pattern and layout before we break ground, so you see exactly how the finished surface will look and can change your mind before anything is set in stone — literally.

How It Works
Our Process
Careful prep work before the first paver ever hits the ground.
We sketch the shape, size, and pattern on-site, confirm the design with you, and mark out the area so you can visualize the finished result before excavation begins.
The area is excavated to depth, geotextile fabric installed, and crushed stone base material compacted in lifts to create a stable, frost-resistant foundation.
A screeded sand bed brings the surface to final grade. Pavers are set to pattern, cut at edges, and border units placed and secured in the base course.
Polymeric sand is swept into all joints, compacted with a plate vibrator, and activated. The area is cleaned, surplus sand removed, and the project is complete.
